Stupid Easy 2 Ingredient Pineapple Cake for the Brain Dead

Lazy, lazier, laziest.  If any of these describes your motivation to cook, then this recipe is for you!  TWO ingredients.  That's right - two.  Opening 2 things and then mixing!  Heck - I've even made it in a disposable pan so your lazy arse doesn't even have to wash that!

 

 

Could this be any easier?  Nope.

 

 

What you get is a light and fluffy pineapple cake that is simply divine.  Sprinkle coconut on top, make a coconut orange glaze or serve with some custard and mixed berries.  Even without any accoutrements, it's wonderful. 

 

This stupid easy to make cake is so versatile and most importantly, delicious!  So get moving already!

 

 

Here's what you'll need:

       1 - 450 gm package angel food cake mix

                                  1- 19 ounce (540 ml) can crushed pineapple

                                  

                                  Oven at 350 degree F.

Put cake mix and pineapple (DON'T drain) into a large bowl.

Whisk until completely blended.

 Make sure the bowl is large.

The mixture will foam up like crazy!

Pour mix into a 10"x13" pan coated with non-stick spray.

 This is the kind of pan I used - disposable!

The whole process should be stupid easy!

Pop into the oven for about 30 minutes.

Here's what it should look like.

Don't worry about the centre slump.

And that crack?  Quite normal for angel food cake.
