25 Notable Chandeliers!

Chandeliers are the focal points of any room.  You can keep it simple and still make a statement or you can kick it up to a mega level of "glitzittitude" that screams, "Hey, look at me!  I'm sparklin' here!"
 
Oh, to try to choose from the countless styles of the thousands of chandeliers was no easy feat!  Please don't faint at some of the prices.  Remember, this is merely a fun list of what caught yours truly's eye!

Lotus Flower ($162)
So pretty and delicate looking!
I love how fresh this full bloom looks!

Sausalito ($686)
What a modern and simple style that's still elegant!


Fascination ($614)
Love this! 
Mostly because this is what hangs over my dining table!
The cascading crystals are sparkly and look like falling icicles.

Arabesque ($479)
A simple sphere that really represents a transitional style.


Another nice mix of tradition with the shades and
modern sparkle with these teardrop pendants.


Yes, pricey...
But can you not swoon from the clusters of crystals?!
 

Muriel ($3,500 and up!)
So if you thought the light above was pricey...
I love this piece. 
It looks like bubbles of pearls clustering together.

Very masculine for the guy who wants
to stand out above his bare-bulbed pals!
Tuxedo, indeed!  Elegant!
 



Light in motion.
The combo of the pendant pendulum really appeals to me.
The silver spheres are encircled with crystals.
If you get these things moving, they'd surely hypnotize me!

But think of this as an engagement ring for your ceiling!
Schonbek... "It'll leave her breathless."

 
One big square with rectangular crystals beautifully aligned
for one gorgeous cube of blinding sparkle!

What an unusual shape of shade.
It looks like the crystals are wearing a poufy skirt.

O.M.G.!  This is a great down payment on a house!
An homage to my disco days, I just had to put this in!

Chihuly Stonechiper
Light as art and art as light.  There is no price on this work.
I am a huge Dale Chihuly fan.
He and glass are at one.  The man is a genius.
Please GOOGLE him to see his stunning oeuvres.
Oh, what I wouldn't give to own even a
finger sized piece of this man's work.
  Fortuny is a classic light design company and this is their signature style.  This inverted pagoda is suspended by a net of chords accented with Murano glass beads.  Exquisite.
Cinderella ($490)
Cinderella, indeed. 
What little (or big) girl wouldn't want this for her room?
Pink and sparkly!
Drink pink champagne under this (if legal!)
 
Couldn't find the name of this light - sorry!
I love the curves' asymmetrical design 
and the relief in the shade.
Just a few little baubles like icing on a cake!

Right from Superman's "Fortress of Solitude"!
With a quartz-like projections,
this would be a show stopper in any room!
 
Parisian ($780)
The Parisienne Chic Flea Market look
is alive and well in this beauty.
Pale coral shade with delicate scroll work and crystals.
Mon Dieu! Je tellement l'aime!
 
Canadian designer Eric Sauve is credited here.
His use of recycled glass is remarkable!
Doesn't it look like a big, fluffy, translucent tutu?

Words cannot describe the WANT factor here.
This is from a specialty store and I suspect it's a one of a kind.
Oh how I would love to see the lucky home where this lives!
 
The shade shape is fabulous.
The sparkle of the crystal is echoed

What an elegant simple fixture with just enough design interest to catch your attention (if the price didn't already!)
